Kmart and IKEA shopper’s budget kitchen makeover for just $500

A Kmart customer has revealed her unbelievable kitchen transformation using a host of bargain buys.

Sharing on a popular Facebook page, shopper Skye revealed how she did a budget reno on her outdated kitchen using a trolley full of Kmart products and IKEA and eBay buys.

The most unusual of the additions to the new kitchen is Kmart’s Rattan Sideboards, which were used as overhead cabinets with their furniture legs removed.

Skye also used Kmart’s brand new 3D Self Adhesive Tiles, which have featured in hundreds of bathroom and kitchen overhauls in recent weeks.

The result is a modern coastal kitchen that looks like it’s worth thousands – and not the $500 that the DIY fan paid.
