The TV presenter and quiz show host has created a lush garden oasis within his West London outdoor space
Ben Shephard has shared his enchanting London garden as he’s hard at work keeping it in tip top condition.
The GMB presenter, who is a keen gardener, shared insight into the outdoor space at his Richmond home yesterday morning with some light lawn cutting.
But rather than moan about the arbitrary task he joked with followers on his Instagram story about his task.
He penned: “Sunday meditation, lawn mowing, lawn lines, (bit wonky) sandals and socks.”
The TV favourite shared an aerial shot taken from his plush Richmond home’s balcony – looking down on his handy work in action – wearing shorts and black T-shirt and the afore mentioned questionable socks and sandals combinaton.
Ben’s lengthy rectangular lawn requires regular maintenance but the star seems to be taking it’s upkeep in his stride.
The TV star shares home with wife Annie Perks and together they have two children, sons Jack, 14 and Sam, 13.
When he’s not cutting the grass or popping up on our screens on his Tipping Point or GMTV jobs he’s happy to relax at home with his family.
He recently shared shots in the garden with his sons enjoying some down time around a huge fire pit.
Ben was also forced to take time out when a football injury saw him fracture his leg and rupture his ACL back in June.
Fortunately his garden proved the perfect oasis to aid his recovery and also boasts it’s own gin bench and fruit and vegetable patch.
And inside the idyllic home they can enjoy luxury open plan living with plenty of plush features contrasted against blue and white walls, brocade wall paper and print cushions.
His living room features a tiled floor, a fire place with exposed brick, bright upholstered furniture and an oak topped dining table.
